The Head of the Foreign Relations Office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party participated in India’s Republic Day celebration.

Hoshyar Siwaily, Head of the Foreign Relations Office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, along with government officials, member of political parties, commercial, academic officials and other sectors of society, attended the 77th Republic Day celebration, organized by the Consulate General of India.

On behalf of the leadership and the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Head of the Foreign Relations Office extended congratulations to the people and government of that country, expressed sincere gratitude to all the staff and organizers of the event, and wished them continued progress and prosperity.

Mr. Siwaily stated that this historic occasion reflects the will and the important human values that have shaped a great and diverse country—rich in culture, ethnis, and religions—making it a place of respect and inspiration for the world. The people and state of India have been able to overcome difficult stages full of challenges and problems and become the largest democracy in the world, which is a source of pride for everyone.

Once again, we extend our congratulations and wish you continued peace and well-being. We also reaffirm our coordination and cooperation toward further strengthening relations between the peoples of Kurdistan and India across all sectors, with the aim of serving and expanding our shared interests.
