Message from President Masoud Barzani

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

We welcome the agreement concluded between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). We congratulate both parties and express our hope that this agreement will be sustainable and successful.

We reaffirm our firm belief that dialogue and peace are the right path to resolving problems and disputes.

We also hope that, from this point forward, the Kurdish people in Syria can turn the page on suffering and pain, and that all parties in Syria may enjoy peace, freedom, and stability.
