Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party Foreign Relations Office visits Korean Consulate in Erbil

Mr. Hoshyar Siwaily, Head of the Foreign Relations Office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP-FRO), paid an official visit to Mr. Seungcheol Lim, Consul General of the Republic of Korea, and his Deputy, at the Consulate General.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the importance of strengthening friendly relations and expanding channels of cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and the Republic of Korea. Discussions focused on the latest political developments in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, particularly the ongoing efforts toward the formation of the new Kurdistan Regional Government and the federal government in Baghdad.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on key regional developments and broader international changes, as well as their potential implications for stability and cooperation in the region.
