The Chancellor of Kurdistan Region Security Council Masrour Barzani receives Serbia Ambassador to Iraq Radisiv Petrovaj

In their meeting, Ambassador Petrovaj expressed satisfaction with safety, stability and economic progress that prevails in Kurdistan and hoped that this stability will spread to the rest of Iraq for the sake of the citizens. The Serbian ambassador expressed his country's desire to encourage companies in Serbia to invest in various fields in Kurdistan and the consolidation and expansion of relations with Kurdistan.

Mr Barzani spoke of his satisfaction for the development prospects of cooperation between the province and a key European country as Serbia. Announcing his support for the expansion of these relations and provide all the possibilities, Mr Barzani said the opening of a Serbian Consulate will be beneficial for upgrading economic and political relations between them.
