President Barzani receives the Iraqi President Dr Latif Rashid.

President Masoud Barzani received  President Latif Rashid today. They discussed the political situation in Iraq, developments in the political process and the steps of the new Iraqi government.  Both Presidents reaffirmed their support for the new Iraqi cabinet and the Federal Government and the implementation of the government's program. 

 The meeting also highlighted Iraq's relations with regional countries and the international community and emphasized the sovereignty and role of Iraq on the regional and international stage.  It was also pointed out that the problems should be resolved through dialogue and stay away from threatening language.
