President Barzani Receives the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran

On Thursday, September 12, 2024, President Masoud Barzani received the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Masoud Pzishkian, in Erbil during his official visit to Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.

During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on the overall situation in Iraq and the wider region. They underscored the importance of strengthening coordination and enhancing bilateral relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Islamic Republic of Iran, particularly in political, economic, and cultural fields.

Additionally, President Pzishkian extended an official invitation to President Barzani to visit the Islamic Republic of Iran, further solidifying the ties between the two sides.
