President Masoud Barzani encourages Kurdish researchers and academics to seek accurate and reliable information and write the history of our nation, and not let others to further distort the history of our people.

President Masoud Barzani received a delegation of writers, academics and intellectuals from East Kurdistan who had visited the Kurdistan Region to participate in the presentation of a series of books as part of the Barzan Revolutionscdocumentary project. 

In the meeting, President Barzani warmly welcomed the guest delegation and thanked Mr. Baram Waladbeg, Head of the Kurdistan Cultural Institute in Tehran and all those who played a role in the documentary project of Barzan Revolutions and prepared the books. Barzani also thanked Salahadin University of Erbil for conducting the event of presenting  the project and wished the project further success.

 President Barzani praised the role of intellectuals, academics and writers in introducing the legitimate cause of our people and building bridges with other nations in the region. He also encouraged Kurdish researchers and academics to seek accurate and reliable information and write the history of our nation, and not to let anyone and anymore to further distort the history of our people. 

 The guest delegation expressed their pleasure at the meeting and thanked His Excellency for his position among the Kurds of other parts of Kurdistan as he is also greatly respected by other Iranian nationalities.

 At the end of the meeting, the guest delegation presented copies of their books and printed works to President Masoud Barzani.
