Hawrami: Kurdistan Peshmerga forces are defending liberty and humanity in fighting terrorism

Hemin Hawrami received a delegation from Norway's World Kurdish Friendship Association in Erbil for talks focusing on democracy in Kurdistan, peace processes and eradicating extremism.

The Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office, Mr Hawrami, said to the delegation that Kurdish Peshmerga forces are fighting against terrorists defending freedom and democracy.

He explained the current political and security developments in the region to Tore Wilhelmsen, vice-president of World Kurdish Friendship Association.

The Norwegian delegation officially submitted an invitation requesting the KDP FRO to attend their conference held in Norway this year under the slogan "Kurdistan the next country in the Middle East"
