Hawrami thanks Britain for supporting Kurdistan in the last 25 years

Hawrami stressed the importance and depth of bilateral relations between Kurdistan and the United Kingdom, especially during the last 25 years.

During his meeting with the British Consul General, to Kurdistan, Angus McKee, Hemin Hawrami head of KDP’s FRO thanked on behalf of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Government and the people of Britain for their support to Kurdistan during this period and especially during the past two years.

During the meeting, the parties stressed the promotion and development of bilateral relations between the two sides.

This meeting came to mark the end of the British Consul General's duty in Kurdistan.

After finishing his term, The British Consul General visited KDP's FEO for his farewell. Hawrami noted his efforts and thanked him for his efforts and wished success in his new duties.

During the meeting, the parties pointed to the latest developments in the region, where Hawrami noted that the KDP always try to calm the situation and aim to resolve differences through dialogue and understanding. Hawrami also pointed to the right of the Kurdish people to build an independent entity as determined by the people of Kurdistan.
