Hawrami: Resolving internal differences is key to facing political challenges

Hemin Hawrami head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations visited the outgoing Dutch Consul General to Erbil John van der Zande for talks as part of his farewell towards the end of his mission.

Both sides discussed the latest developments in the Kurdistan Region and focused on bilateral relations with the Netherlands. Mr van der Zande expressed praise toward the KDP leadership for encouraging stability and protecting democracy.

Mr Hawrami extended President Massoud Barzani’s greetings to the Dutch people and government, he reflected on the Netherlands support for Kurdistan and expressed his appreciation for their assistance before wishing the Dutch Consul General success in his new role.
