Barzani and Hakim emphasise the importance of relations between Baghdad and Erbil

Nechirvan Barzani, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region met with Sayed Ammar al-Hakim, President of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq for talks focusing on the political and military developments.

They emphasised the importance of cooperation between Baghdad and Erbil in liberating Mosul and the administrative progress after they recapture Iraq's second city from ISIS.

Prime Minister Barzani tressed on resolving differences between Baghdad and Erbil, oil and gas revenues and invoking Article 140 of the permanent Iraqi constitution.
