Hawrami discusses bilateral relations with Oman foreign minister

On the sidelines of the Middle East Institute Forum held in Muscat, Hemin Hawrami discussed bilateral relations between Kurdistan and Oman with Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammed al-Hassan.

The Head of KDP's Foreign Relations Office updated Mr al-Hassan with developments in the Kurdistan Region and political reconciliation where he outlined increasing support for stabilisation in liberated areas as they prepare to launch an offensive to recapture Mosul from Islamic State extremists.

He expressed praise on behalf of the Oman government for the security and stability in Kurdistan.

Mr Hawrami said the KDP is fully prepared to broaden its relations with Oman as they exchanged views on areas of mutual interest and recent political developments in the Middle East.
