Hemin Hawrami said that the visit of President Massoud Barzani to Baghdad concerns the relations of both sides after Daesh has been eliminated from Mosul, in addition to discussing the differences and outstanding issues between the two parties.
This came during Hemin Hawrami head of KDP FRO meeting with the new Consul General of the Republic of the France to Erbil, Dominique Mas.
During the meeting Hawrami discusses the historical of bilateral relations between France and Kurdistan.
Speaking about the current situation in Kurdistan, the Head of KDP’S Foreign Relations Office explained the current military developments and emphasised the victories achieved by the Peshmerga forces in fighting against Islamic State terrorists.
Mr Hawrami reflected on the impending liberation process of Iraq's second city, Mosul, where Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani is visiting Baghdad for talks with the Iraqi government to initiate the process.
For his part, Mr Mas expressed his praise fulfilling his duties in the Kurdistan Region and was admiring the experience of working in a peaceful society. Mr Hawrami congratulated the French Consul General on his role and wished him success on behalf of the KDP.
