Hemin Hawrami, Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office received the Indian Consul General to Kurdistan Mr Deepak Miglani.
During the meeting, Hawrami expressed congratulations on behave the KDP leadership committee on the occasion of Mr Miglani's appointment as the first consul from the state of India in Kurdistan and wished him success in his work.
Mr Hawrami then pointed to the Indian role in international forums, wishing benefit from the experiences of India in the areas of education, health and traders.
For his part, Mr Miglani said he was pleased about his position in Kurdistan and stressed that his country will seek to support to the government and the people of Kurdistan its Peshmerga forces.
In another aspect of his speech the Indian consul said the similarity of conditions between the Kurdistan and India in terms of coexistence, tolerance and peace between nationalities and different religions are welcomed.
