British Parliament delegation confirms extended support for Kurdistan

Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Foreign Relations Office  Hemin Hawrami received a delegation from the British Parliament headed by MP Jack Lopresti from the Conservative Party, and included Rt Hon Dame Rosie Winterton, Graham Jones and Tracy Brabin from the Labour Party.

During the meeting, Mr Hawrami highlighted the latest political developments and the military situation in Kurdistan, pointing to the sacrifices of Kurdistan to freedom and human rights, adding that it is striking that the level of aid.

In another aspect of the meeting, they discussed relations between the parties of Kurdistan and the United Kingdom where the British Parliament delegation praised the courage and sacrifices of Kurdistan Peshmerga forces and victories in the war against Daesh, stressing on more support and assistance to the government and the people of Kurdistan.
