Hawrami highlights Peshmerga victories in Vienna

official invitation from the Austrian National Defence Academy, Hemin Hawrami  head of KDP’s FRO delivered a lecture about the current situation in Kurdistan and the latest political and military developments.

During the lecture, which was attended by representatives from the Austrian defence ministry and members of the Higher Institute for National Defence, Mr Hawrami spoke of the ongoing campaign the Peshmerga is currently waging against the Islamic State terrorists and said they are closing-in from eradicating the extremists group from large swathes of Northern Iraq.

He concluded his speech by speaking about the Mosul Ops and liberation process, Kurdistan relations with Baghdad and the question of statehood.
