On 15 February where Hemin Hawrami officially passed responsibility to Hoshyar Siwaily.
For almost six years, Mr Hawrami served as the Head of Foreign Relations Office and essentially held a vital role in improving bilateral relations with international parties by participating in numerous political events around the world where he met many senior figures and highlighted the perspective of the KDP, in addition to hosting a vast amount of seminars promoting the principles and values of the party, while playing an important part in restructuring and upgrading of the office.
He is now moving on to assume his new position as a Special Advisor to the President of the Kurdistan Region, Massoud Barzani.
Mr Hoshyar Siwaily has previously assumed successive high-ranking posts within the KDP, and has served for the government as the Minister of Electricity and Deputy Minister of Humanitarian Aid and Cooperation.
