Emmanuel Bargues, political adviser to the European Institute of Peace (EIP), visits Mr. Hoshyar Siwaily at the Kurdistan Democratic Party Foreign Relations Office in Pirmam.

Mr. Bargues meets with Mr. Siwaily to discuss the work of the European Institute of Peace and more importantly, initiatives with the Kurdistan Regional Government in regards to political dialogues that will be conducted in Iraq and Syria by EIP and top-level individuals. During the meeting a range of topics were discussed, including: post Mosul, bringing the different factions to the discussion table and the role the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party would have, as they value the contributions and influence the KDP holds on decision making in the region.
