President Barzani "We are not against early elections to solve this, but electoral law must be changed

President Barzani receives UN special Representative Martin Koplers President Barzani and Mr. Kopler discussed the latest political issues in Iraq as well as the steps to solve the issues that have risen between Baghdad and Erbil. Mr. Kopler expressed UN's concerns about the current issues in Iraq. UN is ready to assist in bringing all parties together in order to end the current unrest. Mr.Kopler mentioned that his meeting with the President was to be aware of his views and advice on how to solve the situation and governing in Iraq. Mr. Kopler said we are in a situation as President Barzani expected. President Barzani expressed his views for solving the differences and insisted the way to end this is to approach it in a diplomatic manner according to the Constitution and a political agreement. "We are not against early elections to solve this, but electoral law must be changed", Mr.  Barzani, also insisted national censure must be carefully observed by the United Nations.
