KDP delegation participate at Socialist International conference in Portugal

  At the official invitation of Socialist International, a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party participated in their conference held in Portugal. The Head of KDP's Foreign Relations Office Hemin Hawrami was included among the delegation along with Mr Halo Ahmed Kordh, the head of KDP's 4th Branch. They expressed the greetings of President Massoud Barzani and the party's leadership to Louis Alaya, Secretary-General of the Socialist International, to whom they also thanked for the invitation. The delegation also conferred with other participating delegates discussing imperative economic issues, finding solutions to problems in Europe, and the latest developments in Arab countries after the effect of the Arab Spring. The conference is scheduled to continue for several days.
