President Barzani receives Czech Republic Ambassador to Iraq

President of Kurdistan-Region Massoud Barzani received Czech Republic Ambassador to Iraq Alexander Langar.

During the meeting, Ambassador Langar expressed his condolences to President Barzani for his sister's passing, then articulated his happiness to visit Kurdistan to meet with its authorities while at the same time asserted his admiration for the stability, peace and beauty of nature in Kurdistan, wishing further progress for peace and coexistence in the Kurdistan region.

Mr Langar stressed the importance of economic investment and the participation of Czech companies, and desires to develop diplomatic and economic relations between the two sides.

President Barzani welcomed the ambassador and described relations between the two sides is an important step while discussing the current political situation.
