KDP Politico Bureau and American Consul-General in Kurdistan discuss the latest political developments in the region and Iraq

Fadil Mirani, Secretary of the Politburo met United States Consul-General to Kurdistan Paul Stephen and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, Mr Mirani highlighted the latest political developments in Kurdistan. On the crisis in Iraq, he described it as a dangerous situation and explained that the Iraqi parties must  work in a spirit of patriotism and resolve problems to put the national interest and the interest of citizens above all other considerations.

Mr Mirani also spoke of the stability, coexistence, tolerance and fraternity in Kurdistan where Mr Stephen said he was pleased with the meeting and praised the stable situation in Kurdistan which is setting aside differences and solve problems through dialogue and understanding, and wished more progress for Kurdistan.
