President Brazani receives Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Iraq.

President Masoud Barzani received U.K Ambassador to Iraq Ambassador Stephen Hitchen in Salahaddin on Sunday.

In the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Andrew Bizley, British Consul General in Erbil, the British Ambassador to Iraq expressed his appreciation for President Barzani's visit to Baghdad and meetings with the parties and said the visit has created a positive political atmosphere in the Iraqi political process and was a successful visit.

President Barzani discussed the results of his visit to Baghdad and regarding the political process in the Kurdistan Region, President Barzani stressed the need to hold the Kurdistan parliamentary elections on time.

Regional developments, the threat of terrorism and the future of the presence of coalition forces were other topics of the meeting.
