President Masoud Barzani received Mr. Yann Braem, Consul General of France in Erbil, in Salahaddin.

During the meeting both sides exchanged views on the latest political developments in Iraq and the region, relations between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi Federal Government, as well as the upcoming Kurdistan parliamentary elections.

They also emphasized the friendship and historical relations between the Kurdistan Region and France and the development of these relations.
