President Masoud Barzani receives Ambassador of Pakistan to Iraq

President Masoud Barzani received Ambassador of Pakistan to Iraq Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmad in Salahaddin on Tuesday, August 27, 2024.

During the meeting, the Ambassador of Pakistan to Iraq expressed his happiness for the prosperity and peace and the progress that has been achieved in the Kurdistan Region and congratulated the Kurdistan Regional Government and leadership. He told President Barzani that his country wants to have close relations with the Kurdistan Region in various fields of trade and culture.

The political situation in Iraq and the region, the relations between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Government of Iraq, as well as the threat of terrorism at the global and regional levels were also discussed during the meeting.
