Hawrmami and Conde discuss the political project of Kurdistan and Barzani's visit to Baghdad

Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party Foreign Relatons Office Hemin Hawrami held talks with United Nations Administrator Sokol Conde discussing the political impact of Kurdistan and President Massoud Barzani’s recent visit to Baghdad.

Mr Hawrami reflected the KDP’s efforts of success on the political situation and democracy in the region including preserving elections and on the position of President Barzani’s outcome of his meeting in Baghdad for talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on the on-going issues between the federal government and Erbil.

On President Barzani visiting Baghdad, Mr Hawrami said meetings with political parties are aimed to resolve the problems between the region and Baghdad, declaring that Kurdistan Democratic Party intend on talks within the framework of the Constitution, and hoped the federal government of Iraq is committed to the implementation of the Convention within the framework of the Constitution.
