KDP Foreign Relations Office receives Netherlands Ambassador to Iraq & and the Head of Office for UN Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) Mr Sokol Kondi.

The Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party Foreign Relations Office Hemin Hawrami emphasized the position of the KDP on the provincial legislative elections that it will be in accordance with its schedule and discussed developments in the region, in two separate meetings held with Netherlands Ambassador to Iraq Ms Janet Sins and the Head of Office for UN Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) Mr Sokol Kondi.

Mr Hawrami talked of the imperative events leading to September and October, with the legislative elections and the Kurdish National Congress taking place, urging the European Union and United Nations officials to participate in the events.

Holland Ambassador affirmed his country’s support for Kurdistan elections where Mr Hawrami highlighted the peaceful coexistence and democratic tolerance of the Kurdish people.
