Hawrami in Europe for KDP election campaign

Hemin Hawrami has been travelling across Europe as part of the Kurdistan Democratic Party’s campaign process for the Iraqi legislative and Kurdistan provincial council elections scheduled for April 30.

 

The Head of KDP’s Foreign Relations Office has visited the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Germany to rally support for KDP’s ‘213’ ballot list and conducting in extensive meetings with the KDP’s European branches discussing the details of the electoral process and the need to mobilise all potential voters and supporters to hail success in casting their votes for the 213 ballot of the KDP.

 

Mr Hawrami emphasised, during his meetings, on the political issues taking place in the Kurdistan Region and the future of relations with the federal government in Baghdad, in addition to highlighting the importance of the role of elections for international voters that has an impact on the future of Kurdistan’s politics.

 

“The atmosphere of the election this time is different from previous elections, because our (213) list is independent of other parties and we are confident of our supporters.” Mr Hawrami said.
