By official invitation a delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party headed by Hemin Hawrami, head of KDP’s foreign relations office, and office member Mr Safin Gulani, participated at the political and economic conference in Amman, capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II, on a theme of new investment opportunities in Levant on 8th May.
The Prime Minister of Jordan, Mr Abdullah Ensour, delivered an opening speech addressing the situation in the region and its challenges facing the scientific and economic policy.
The participants conversed on topics including energy, economic challenges and investment where the speakers praised the Kurdistan-Region as one of the most dynamic projects markets in the surrounding areas.
On the sidelines of the conference, the KDP delegation met with other representatives and explained its viewpoint on the economic, political situation in the region and discussed ways to foster relations with Kurdistan.
The conference is in cooperation with the ‘Macarlea’, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) leading investment and political communication advisory group and the Financial Times, a British international daily newspaper with a special emphasis on business and economic news internationally
