Masrour Barzani said in a meeting with the British Ambassador to Iraq, Frank Baker, that all sides are responsible for any negative impact the current situation in the Kurdistan region is bearing on the people.
The Chancellor and Head of Kurdistan Region Security Council (KRSC) pointed out that the reform process needs time, but in the current financial hardship, the region needs urgent assistance from the international coalition, including drawing support for the Peshmerga forces and war expenses as necessary.
He also reflected on President Massoud Barzani's project of reform, regulation of the administrative system and the financial and economic conditions.
The two sides discussed the latest developments touching on the political, economic and military situation in the region. The meeting was attended by British Consul General to Erbil.
