Message from President Barzani

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

We welcome the decision of the Coordination Framework to nominate Mr. Nouri al-Maliki as a candidate for the position of Prime Minister of Iraq. On this occasion, we extend our congratulations to Mr. Nouri al-Maliki and wish him success and prosperity. We affirm our support for his efforts to address issues and disputes, and to overcome the obstacles and challenges facing the country.
