By official invitation, Hemin Hawrami, Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party’s Foreign Relations Office, participated at the annual congress of A Just Russia Party in Moscow where delegates exchanged views on the current political agenda.
Representing Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani, Mr Hawrami held meetings on the sidelines of the congress for talks on the latest situation in Kurdistan and focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the KDP and Russian parties.
He is accompanied by KDP FRO office members Abdulsalam Zebari and Khoshawi Ibrahim.
The roots of party A JUST RUSSIA go back to August 29, 2006 when an agreement On the Basic Principles for Unification of the Rodina Party (Motherland), the Russian Party of Life and the Russian Party of Pensioners was signed by their leaders Sergei Mironov, Alexander Babakov and Igor Zotov at the Press Centre of weekly newspaper Argumenty-i-Fakty (AiF). The unification agreement was the first document that started formation of the new party.
