Russia praises courage of Peshmerga

As part of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office aims to promote the aspirations of the KDP, Hemin Hawrami held talks with the head of Russians ruling United Party's Foreign Relations, in Moscow to discuss bilateral relations and developments in the region.

Mr Hawrami head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office emphasised the already-encouraging relations between Kurdistan and Russia and said the KDP praises diplomatic ties.

He is visiting Russia to attend the Just Russia Party congress on behalf of President Massoud Barzani.

For his part, the head of Russians ruling United Party's Foreign Relations said Russia praises the Kurds and Peshmerga forces for defending their freedom and added they look with positive intent on enhancing ties between both sides.

Other topics of the meeting included the political situation in Iraq and the civil war in Syria. The meeting was attended by other office members of the FRO.
