Hawrami holds conference in Moscow focusing on Kurdish developments

Hemin Hawrami held a press conference on Monday in Russian capital Moscow at the Ria Novosti  covering policies and positions on relations with Russia and the regional developments , he spoke of the Kurdish genocide, Anfal  campaigns and the mass destruction of hundreds of villages across southern Kurdistan, and that its been a horrendous experience the region has faced since being a part of Iraq from 1920.

The Head of KDP’s Foreign Relations Office, who is visiting Russia to participate at the annual congress of 'Just Russia' party, said he believes that Iraq has failed as a state and since the 2003 war it has not developed.

He went on to emphasise the political and security situation in the Kurdistan region and what the leadership is anticipating to combat the domestic crisis before moving on to the relationship between the KRG and Baghdad, the impending Kurdish referendum and the civil war in Syria.

The KDP delegation is in Moscow on behalf of President Massoud Barzani.
