Hawrami and Suponina discuss Kurdish issues

Within the Kurdistan Democratic Party delegation, Hemin Hawrami met with Elena Suponina, the Adviser Director of Asia and Middle East centre in the Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISS), during the KDP FRO delegation's trip to Moscow.

During the meeting the two sides discussed the latest political developments in the Kurdistan Region, during which, head of KDP's FRO Hemin Hawrami highlighted the latest political and military developments. They also discussed the relations between Kurdistan and Russia, and the upcoming referendum.

  

The Kurdish delegation, have met many Russian officials and many of the delegations who have been participating in Russian Justice Party's conference.

The Russian Institute for Strategic Studies (RISS) is a major scientific-research and analytical centre established by the President of the Russian Federation. The main task of RISS is to provide information support to the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, the Federation Council, the State Duma and the Security Council as well as to Government offices, ministries and departments. RISS provides expert appraisals and recommendations and prepares analytical materials for those bodies.
