Hawrami emphasises the national rights of the Syrian Kurds

Hemin Hawrami, Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office, held separate meetings with media academic delegations from the United States, Germany and Phillipines to discuss the latest political and military developments in the region.

The delegation included both the writer and journalist Roy Gutman, Middle-East correspondent Inga Rogg of ZE German.

During the meeting, Mr Hawrami touched on the civil rights of the Kurdish people in Syria, that the humanitarian crisis is depriving all civilians of their guarantees to a right of life.

In another aspect of the meeting, the Head of KDP’S FRO reflected on the role of President Massoud Barzani with regards to the disaster in Syria, that he has made numerous attempts to unite the political parties with efforts to achieve their goals but talks later faltered.

The meeting concluded with all sides exchanging views on the situation in the Kurdistan region.
