This year’s forum is hosted by H.E. Andrej Plenković, Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, with the participation of a distinguished group of international figures, including former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper, former Prime Minister of Ireland Enda Kenny, Lord Ashcroft, and many other senior political and diplomatic personalities.
The discussions focus on several important themes, including “A Shifting World, An Enduring Alliance: The Transatlantic Relationship in a New Geopolitical Era,” as well as security, strategy, public opinion, and leadership in times of rapid global change.
During the forum, the KDP delegation will engage with participating leaders, diplomats, parliamentarians, academics, and representatives of international think tanks. The meetings provide an important opportunity to exchange views on current political and security challenges, including developments in the Middle East, their impact on the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, and the broader consequences for international stability, democratic governance, and economic progress.
The participation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in this important international gathering reflects the KDP’s continued commitment to dialogue, democratic values, regional stability, and strengthening relations with political partners across the world.
The forum will continue tomorrow, with further meetings expected between the KDP delegation and political, diplomatic, academic, and policy figures participating in the event.
