Deputy ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Baghdad visits KDP-FRO in Pirmam

On Tuesday, 17 May, Hoshyar Siwaily, Head of Kurdistan Democratic Party- Foreign Relations Office, hosts Christian Nilsson, deputy ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Baghdad and Head of the Erbil office. Mr. Nilsson praised the sacrifice of the fight against ISIS and promised continuous assistance and support to the KRG in the face of the current challenges. Mr. Siwaily thanked the Kingdom of Sweden for the support, training, and other services they provide to the Region, particularly in light of the recent parliament decision to double the number of Sweden trainers and advisors in the Region. He also explained the referendum process that is expected to take place later this year. The reactivation of the Kurdistan parliament and current political affairs were topics of discussion during the meeting.

Finally, both sides emphasized the importance of strengthening relations to serve mutal interest of the two nations.
