The Consulate General of the Hashemite   Kingdom of Jordan organized a celebration event to commemorate the 71th anniversary of the independence of the Kingdom

The Consulate General of the Hashemite   Kingdom of Jordan organized a celebration event to commemorate the 71th anniversary of the independence of the Kingdom. The event coincided with a formal visit by President Barzani to Amman during which he met the King and other high ranking officials. In a speech, Jordan's General Consul in Erbil, thanked KRG for their warm hospitality and highly appreciated President Barzani's role in not only preserving these historical ties but elevating them to a higher level.

The KRG's Head of DFR thanked the Consul General and the Jordanian Government for their support and the ongoing assistance in the fight against ISIS and the provision of equipment and medical supplies to the Region. The celebration was attended by Sidad Barzani and Karim Sinjari who were representing President Barzani and the Prime Minister respectively.
