Happy 250th Birthday, to the United States of America

On behalf of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Foreign Relations Office, we are pleased to extend our warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Embassy of the United States of America, the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil, and the American people on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of American independence.

This historic milestone is an opportunity to celebrate the enduring spirit of the American people and the values upon which the United States was founded: freedom, democracy, constitutional governance, equal opportunity, and human dignity. Over the past 250 years, these principles have continued to inspire people around the world and have shaped America’s important role in supporting peace, stability, and democratic development.

For the people of Kurdistan, this occasion holds special significance. We deeply value the longstanding friendship, partnership, and cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and the United States. We remain grateful for the continued support and engagement of the United States, including the important contributions of American diplomats, officials, and friends who have worked closely with the Kurdistan Region over the years.

On this important anniversary, we reaffirm our commitment to further strengthening the bonds of friendship, mutual respect, and cooperation between the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the Kurdistan Region, and the United States of America.

We wish the Government and people of the United States continued peace, prosperity, and success, and we extend our sincere appreciation to the U.S. Embassy and the U.S. Consulate General in Erbil for their continued partnership and friendship.
