Kingdom of the Netherland will continue to support Kurdistan

Pirmam, Kurdistan Region, Iraq. Mr. Hoshyar Siwaily head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office welcomed H.E. Mr. Matthijs Wolters Netherlands Ambassador to Iraq and Ms. Janet Alberda the Consul General in Erbil- Kurdistan Region.

In the meeting, Mr. Siwaily thanked Mr. Wolters for the visit and asked him to convey the gratitude of KDP's Leadership for the support that the Netherlands provided to the Region throughout the difecults times and the friendship throughout the years. Furthermore, he assured the ambassador that  KDP’s will endeavor to help and facilitate their mission.

Mr. Siwaily emphasized the willingness of the party's desire to help facilitating constructive talks with Baghdad in an attempt to bring about a mutual ground to resolve the differences between KRG and Iraqi central government based on the constitution.

Finally, both Mr. Wolters and Ms. Alberda reiterated the desire of the Netherlands to continue supporting KRG's effort to seek reconciliation in among Iraqi factions.
