Indian Consul: Kurdistan is close to us.

Pirmam, Kurdistan region, Iraq. Mr. Hoshyar Siwaily head of Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office welcomed Mr. Deepak Miglani, the Indian Consul General in Kurdistan region.

Mr. Siwaily thanked Mr. Deepak and Mr. Satya Veer Singh for their visit and wished success in their task to further strengthen the bilateral relations between the emerging soft-power of India and the inspired people of Kurdistan. He also conveyed the appreciation on behalf of the KDP for their continued efforts in Kurdistan.

Mr. Siwaily stressed the position of Kurdistan Democratic Party and its leadership to resolve difference of views and opinion between Erbil and Baghdad through dialogues and mutual understanding in full accordance to the Iraqi constitution. Furthermore, he stressed the importance for supervision from the International partners to safeguard the rights of the people.

Finally, Mr. Miglani urged all parties to put their differences aside in attempt to emerge through these challenging times stronger and more equipped to benefit the people of Kurdistan and Iraq alike.
