Prime Minster Of Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani visits Baghdad and Meet with Iraqi Prime Minister Haidar Al-Abadi

Nechiravan Barzani Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region on Saturday 20/1/2018 accompanied by a delegation consisted of Deputy Prime Minister  Qubar Talabani Deputy and Fuad Hussein, chief of staff to the presidency of the Kurdistan Region visited Baghdad, capital of Federal Iraq, met with Dr. Haider al Abadi Prime Minister of Iraq's Federal.\

 

At the meeting they discussed the latest political and security developments in the region, and talk on how to esolve the outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad under the Iraqi Constitution.

 

Both sides exchange views on the latest developments in the ongoing discussions between Erbil and Baghdad regarding the issue of the budget and  salaries of employees of Kurdistan Region and the border crossing and Airports of the Region, stressing on the continuation of these meetings in order to speed up the completion of the procedures for sending the salaries of employees of Kurdistan Region and open the airport, and discuss a number of topics related to the sectors of oil and commitment by the Iraqi Constitution, another aspect of the meeting.

 

Following the meeting with the Prume Minister of Iraq, Nechiravan Barzani Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region head the delegation to Tehran to meet with Iranain official the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

 

The visit come after recieving official invitation from Islamic Republic of Iran. The delegation  scheduled to hold meetings with high officials include Hassen Rouhani President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
