I send my best wishes for a happy and prosperous Newroz to the families of our beloved martyrs in particular; the Kurdistan Region's security and intelligence community and the people across the region.

Newroz carries a special meaning among the people of Kurdistan, representing the start of the new year on the one hand and achieving freedom from on the other.

I understand the difficulties that the people of Kurdistan Region have recently endured, especially the economic hardship. I am confident that unity and resilience in the face of these challenges will secure a promising future for our people.

In that spirit, I hope this Newroz becomes an opportunity to unify the Kurdish household and realize the rights of our nation.
