On the occasion of Easter and the Assyrian-Babylonian New Year, I extend warm congratulations to the Christian brothers and sisters in Kurdistan, Iraq and the world.

I hope that this feast will be a source of brotherhood, coexistence and stability, and an occasion to defeat terrorism and extremism, and an end to the suffering of Christian brothers and sisters and all components in Iraq and the wider region.
