president Barzani meets KRG delegation to Baghdad

Massoud Barzani president of Kurdistan Region  held a debriefing meeting with of KRG delegation to Baghdad headed by Emad Ahmad Deputy Prime Minister on Wednesday  in Salahaddin resort in Erbil.

The aim of KRG delegation’s visit to Baghdad that met Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki was to discuss the Baghdad-KRG pending issues.

Ahmed the head of the delegation displayed the outcomes of the series meetings in the visit they made to Baghdad, including 2013 budget and Kurdistan Region’s share as well as Peshmerga forces allowance and the oil and gas law.

There were also talks on the agreement they signed with the federal government’s officials, stressing that there will be another meeting and the Kurdish Ministers and MPs will be called for.

the president of Kurdistan Region appreciated the delegation’s visit to Baghdad, considering it as a necessary visit to solve the pending issues between the federal government and KRG.
