Our message as Kurdistan Democratic Party for the general elections of the Iraqi Council of Representatives which due to be held on  12-5-2018.

The message of the Kurdistan Democratic Party is always the message of Democracy and the struggle which stemming from the historical experiences in order to realize the freedom and national rights of the people of Kurdistan.

Once again, loudly and democratically, we turn to all parties and say: your participation in the process of elections of the Iraqi Council of Representatives is a participation in the democratic process, so when you go to the ballot boxes remember the historical fact that the Kurdistan Democratic Party is the owner of the case, the cause of  people Kurdistan. Kurdistan Democratic Party has steadfastly fought and fought for a series of bright modern concepts embodied in: freedom, democracy, and coexistence.

Together we turn to the voting process, a process that assures the spirit of martyrs and the fruits of the struggle of our people, and with a message (Attaining more achievements for Kurdistan) and with solid confidence and insight, we turn to the Kurdistan Democratic Party list (No. 184)

The Kurdistan Democratic Party is working to protect the rights of Kurds. We believe and are convinced that these rights also protect the rights of all Iraqis. When the federal government respects the constitution, federalism, judicial powers and the diversity of components living in Iraq, Iraq will prevail. The Kurdistan Democratic Party has always placed the rights of the people of Kurdistan in the forefront of its functions.  we strive to strengthen the status of Kurdistan in Iraq and abroad. We also work with other parties that have the same view of a federal Iraq and believe in coexistence and diversity. The Kurdistan Democratic Party continues the struggle and serious dialogue with all parties in order to understand the fateful rights of the people of Kurdistan in a peaceful manner and achieve coexistence and stability and guarantee the legitimate rights of the people of Kurdistan. We pledge to achieve the following objectives of the of our program of work in the next Iraqi Parliament as prioritized below:

 1. Protect the constitutional rights and freedoms of the people of Kurdistan to strengthen a unified Kurdistan Region as a constitutional body.

2. With highest appreciation and consideration of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to steadfastness and tolerance of the people of Kurdistan in general, and civil servants in particular over the current financial crisis, We emphasize the intensification of our efforts to ensure the fair share of the budget of the Kurdistan Region, reach employees, and provide better services to the residence of Kurdistan.  We work for fair share budgets to be allocated to Kurdistan region and Kurdistani territories outside the Kurdistan Regional Administration. We work to end the unfair financial policies of Baghdad against our people in all financial benchmarks.

3. The implementation of all articles of the Constitution, and adherence to its provisions and content formulated according to the criteria of partnership, power sharing, balance and compatibility, is the only permanent guarantee of the optional unity of the country and sovereignty of Iraq.

4. Accelerate the implementation of Article 140, normalization, census, and referendum, and end the intolerable situation in Kirkuk and all cities, towns and regions. And ask the Iraqi Governenment to compensate all those people affected by the military Campaign of Oct., 16th, 2018.

5. Preserving the federal republican democratic pluralistic system and establishing an institutional civil state based on partnership and equal citizenship.

6. Iraq is a multi ethnic and religious community. This diversity must be respected and the freedom of all components also must be guaranteed. Differences to be a point of strength of the homeland, the elimination of intentional terrorism to changes demography must be stopped.

7. Establish the Federal Council and issuing all laws that have constitutional foundations, and conducting the general population census.

8. Keep and sustain the security and stability of Kurdistan which has been guaranteed by hard work of the security and Peshmarga of Kurdistan.

9. To achieve comprehensive national reconciliation and genuine peaceful coexistence, all areas affected by the war must be reconstructed, displaced people should return to their homes and areas, victims of genocide should be assisted and bring perpetraitors to justice.

10. To guarantee The neutrality and the structure of the Iraqi army, its duties must be non-biased according to The Constitution, and prevent  the militarization of the society.

11. Provide the fair assistance to the Peshmerga and be recognized as mention in the constitution.  Secure Peshmarga’s  rights and all their needs because they are part of Iraqi defence force and have great role in the fight against terrorists.  Peshmarga courageously  protected Kurdistan and Iraq  and sacrificed thousands of martyrs and wounded in the fight against terror.

12. Substantial Economic and financial reform, in order to save Iraq from economic collapse.

13. Political and public administration reform to ensures the respect and sovereignty of national institutions and the independence of the judiciary.

14. Defend the political, administrative, and cultural rights of Turkmen and Chaldeans, Assyrians , Syriac, Armenians, Yezidis kurds, Failis and all of the components.

In order to achieve these goals and to guarantee all the constitutional rights of our people, and lifting the sanctions and threats. We consider the elections in all circumstances as a practical means of civil, democratic struggle to defend the rights of the people of Kurdistan.
