European Union Delegation meets with Kurdistan Democratic Party's Foreign Relations Office

Head of the Foreign Relations Office of Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Mr. Hoshyar Siwaily received Ms. Clarisse Pasztory, European Union (EU) Representative in Kurdistan Region, Mr. Timo Kirvesoja, and Mr. Pawel Wojtasik , who are members of the EU fact-finding mission to Kurdistan Region and Iraq in an attempt to assess and understand the current military and political situation of the region.

Security of the region and the forthcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections were among the topics discussed during the meeting. Mr. Siwaily highlighted the need for further involvement of the EU in playing active role in policy shaping of the region and wished the delegation a fruitful and successful trip
