China is preparing for the construction of a new building for the General Consulate headquarters in Erbil.

The General Consulate of the People Republic of China in the Kurdistan Region works with the relevant authorities in the Kurdistan Regional Government to prepare for the construction of a new building for the consulate headquarters in Erbil.

The Foreign Relations Officer of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Hoshyar Siwaily, received at the headquarters of the Office of Relations, Ni Ruchi Consul General of the People's Republic of China in Erbil.

Hoshayr Siwaily expressed his pleasure at the visit and pointed out the importance of the strong relationship between Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Republic of China, and expressed his willingness to provide the necessary support and assistance to the Chinese Consul General for the success of his work in the region.

On the other hand, the Chinese Consul expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome and praised the good relations between the two sides and expressed his readiness to work on developing this relationship and strengthening in all fields. He also pointed out that his country intends to strengthen relations with the Kurdistan Region, and the Consulate General of China in contact with the relevant authorities in Kurdistan to build a new building for the Consulate General of his country in Erbil on a plot of land (30) thousand square meters allocated by the Kurdistan Regional Government.

On the other side of the meeting, it was pointed out that some major Chinese companies intend to visit the Kurdistan Region and invest in several areas similar to the other Chinese companies that operating in the region.
