The office of  President Massoud Barzani  issued a statement regarding an arrest warrant for legitimate elected head of Kirkuk Provisional council Rebwar Talabani.

A decision to arrest Ribawar Talabani is an extension of the betrayal of October 16, such acts of arrest and punishment of patriots do not erase their treacherous deeds.

What Rebawar Talabani has been subjected to is because of his patriotic position, his national pride and his love for justice, a fact that everyone knows. And now every loyal Kurd supports Rebwar Talabani and stands with him, and President Barzani strongly supports him.
